The Position
OPSWAT Academy is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Instructor with a strong background in IT/OT cybersecurity. This role involves creating and delivering training and certification programs focused on critical infrastructure protection, product-based training, and advanced cybersecurity topics.
Ideally, this position will be based in our corporate office in Tampa, FL, however remote candidates will be considered.

The Position
OPSWAT Academy is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Instructor with a strong background in IT/OT cybersecurity. This role involves creating and delivering training and certification programs focused on critical infrastructure protection, product-based training, and advanced cybersecurity topics.

What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and deliver specialized cybersecurity training programs for IT/OT environments, with a focus on critical infrastructure protection.
- Create comprehensive product-based training modules aligned with OPSWAT’s offerings and industry standards.
- Design certification programs that validate cybersecurity skills, particularly in defense, attack methodologies, and security architecture.
- Conduct live training sessions, webinars, and hands-on labs to reinforce learning.
- Utilize virtualization environments to create and host realistic lab scenarios.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of content.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to incorporate into training materials.
- Provide mentorship and support to students throughout their learning journey.
- Evaluate and continuously improve the effectiveness of training programs based on feedback and industry developments.
- Travel internationally to deliver training sessions and engage with global teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a technical training or instructional role.
- Strong knowledge of IT/OT security, including defense, attack methodologies, and security architecture.
- Experience with virtualization environments for creating and hosting labs.
- Familiarity with scripting or programming for custom integrations.
- Ability to translate complex cybersecurity concepts into accessible learning materials.
- Strong communication, presentation, and instructional design skills.
- Proficiency in using online training platforms and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on practical application.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required.
- Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
