The One 23 Group, a Virginia-based Government Contractor, seeks a Cybersecurity Training Specialist, Sr.
Requirements:- Lead the management and delivery of cybersecurity training programs as defined in the Task Order SOW, including project planning, content development, instructional design, status reporting, and administrative support.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity specialists and SMEs to gather topical content and deliver robust training solutions.
- Oversee and administer the delivery of cybersecurity training through designated platforms, ensuring compliance with 508 and SCORM standards.
- Engage in regular communication with stakeholders and end users, responding to training inquiries and providing updates as necessary.
- Develop and maintain training handbooks, briefings, and reports for senior management and executive leadership.
- Support the development of role-based and awareness-focused training courses, ensuring alignment with federal cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Collect, analyze, and compile performance metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and ensure compliance with federal regulations, including FISMA and NIST standards.
- Provide leadership in planning and executing social engineering exercises, cybersecurity awareness campaigns, and Cybersecurity Awareness Month activities.
- Participate in the planning, coordination, and management of Cybersecurity Training Working Groups and Integrated Project Teams (IPTs).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client engagement and lead coordination efforts across various cybersecurity training initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity training, awareness, and instructional design, with a focus on federal regulations (NIST, FISMA).
- Familiarity with the ADDIE instructional design model and experience with federal cybersecurity training programs.
- Extensive experience using training development tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate, KnowBe4, SCORM compliance tools).
- Experience in managing cybersecurity awareness programs, including social engineering simulations, CSAT, and role-based training.
- Demonstrated ability to consult with SMEs and stakeholders and lead the development of complex cybersecurity training initiatives.
Clearance:
Must have a minimum active SECRET clearance (US citizenship required).
