Our Cybersecurity Internship Program is designed to provide you the opportunity to work alongside our Security Consultants in one or more of the following areas:
Security Testing
- Network Security penetration-testing, vulnerability assessments, configuration and cloud security
- Social Engineering Exercises Phishing, pretext calling, physical penetration testing
Governance, Risk and Compliance
- Lead or participate on engagements that perform information and cyber security risk assessments and deliver reports with results, gaps, findings and recommendations.
- Assist clients with the implementation of their information security programs including development and consulting assistance with:
- Business continuity and incident response plans
- Information security initiatives, plans, roadmaps and plan of actions and milestones (POAMs).
- Written information security program and policy documentation
- Security awareness training
What you will gain:
- Experience performing consulting engagements using proven methodologies that include identifying client capabilities, executing assessments, identifying gaps between standard protocols and client given state, developing written reports,and identifying and presenting results to clients on recommendations to mitigate risk.
- Technical and hands on experience performing vulnerability analysis and conducting penetration tests with tools such as NMAP, Nessus, BurpSuite, and Metasploit
- Understanding or real world vulnerabilities in clients environments
- Consulting experience through client facing work
- Exposure to business issues and challenges
- Opportunity to leverage your computer knowledge and analytical skills, and apply what youve learned in school to real-life cybersecurity issues
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related disciplines
- Above average class performance as demonstrated by college GPA; Preferred 3.0 GPA or higher
- Strong organizational skills in coordinating multiple projects/tasks simultaneously, and meeting deadlines
- Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- A general understanding of networking concepts and protocols
