About the Role
The Company is seeking a Cybersecurity Controls Testing Lead with a focus on Global Functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and execution-oriented management of end-to-end control testing, particularly in the areas of operational controls performance assurance, and risk reduction. This role involves leading a team of approximately 5 control testing professionals, with a strong emphasis on control testing planning and execution. The candidate must have at least 10 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years in risk and control roles, and a preference for those with direct management experience. A hands-on experience in the finance function of a global bank is considered a plus. The role requires an individual with an excellent understanding of financial services products and services, expert knowledge in InfoSec risk and control, and advanced skills in control design, execution, and testing. The candidate should be an independent thinker, capable of influencing and collaborating with others, and adept at working on virtual teams. Key responsibilities for the Cybersecurity Controls Testing Lead include supporting the controls testing utility, assessing control design, designing control testing tools, and developing control testing procedures. The role also involves maintaining resource forecasts, handling control testing interactions with senior managers, and representing control testing in various forums. The candidate will be expected to drive continuous improvements in control testing and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders to ensure the success of control testing in line with the business's strategy. A university degree is preferred, and the candidate should have advanced skills in MS Office. The position demands a high level of accountability for control testing results and the ability to make decisions on control testing design activities. The candidate should be adept at assessing risk and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, with a strong focus on safeguarding the company and its assets.
