SASSI is seeking a Systems Analyst to assist, lead, and coordinate closely with leadership within the Department of Defense Chief Information Office (DCIO). Position involves development and support of Cybersecurity Architecture artifacts and conducting gap analysis' of DCIO client's products against artifacts and efforts in the broader Cybersecurity community. Position includes working knowledge of at least one of the zero trust pillars.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist management in support of cybersecurity architecture and data centric goals.
  • Work closely with Senior Leadership at Department of Defense (DoD) Chief Information Office.
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
  • Developing and reviewing cybersecurity architecture products.
  • Completing weekly activity reports on weekly activites that support DCIO client equities.
  • Occassional local travel to support DCIO client equities in meetings (once a month).
  • Ability to come into the office at least once a week.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Active TS clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher within computer science, system engineering or other cyber security related field.
  • 5 years equivalent experience or experience within computer science, system engineering or other cyber security related field.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience with knowledge of, and in-depth experience, skill and expertise in cloud, DoD architecture framework, cybersecurity architecture, and data centric security.
  • Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity background preferred, not required.
  • Ability to identify and spotlight cybersecurity vulnerabilities in a legacy and cloud data environment.
  • Ability to clearly define and explain zero trust capabilities.
