Hardware Hawaii is hiring: CDL Driver (Kapolei) in Kapolei

Hardware Hawaii, a local retail hardware and lumber business, is seeking a customer oriented and dependable individual for a full-time position as a CDL driver.  The individual we seek is outgoing and enjoys working with customers in providing the best possible customer service.

Position Summary:

Performs general delivery services of lumber and building materials. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Comply with all laws, Company’s policies, procedures and safety protocol.

• Ensure that vehicle is in a proper and safe operating condition.

• Keep accurate information in regards to deliveries and equipment; complete and turn in all pertinent documentation at the end of shift.

• Maintain proper communication with dispatcher and customers

• Attend all required safety training and provide valid certifications.

• Operate company property safety, i.e. the moving of containers, trailers, chassis, flatbeds, forklifts, etc.

• Performs other labor including the loading and unloading of materials and vehicles to various destinations.

   

  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must have 3-5 years of commercial driving experience

• Must have a current Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)

• Must possess knowledge of current Commercial Driver’s rules and regulations
