Job Description: Nature of work involves utility line tree trimming, right-of­ way clearing and vegetation management. A CDL Driver will operate mostly tractor trailers in addition to other miscellaneous equipment. Drivers will haul oversized clearing equipment, chip vans, and log trailers between work sites, may transport work materials, and may haul wood & tree chips. Driver's may also be required to drive a log truck, debris truck, and tri-axle. At least 6 months driving experience with Class A CDL. Heavy Hauling experience is a must. Drivers will also be required to participate with laborer duties since they comprise a majority of the job. Laborer duties may include operating a chainsaw; chipping, clearing, & dragging brush; spraying herbicide; flagging, etc. (Note: Driving Duties are only a minor portion of this position)Work Schedule: Varies- up to 60-70 hrs/week. Candidate must be available for Over-time & storm work as needed.Rate of Pay: Varies depending upon Skills and Experience.Work Area: Travel required throughout various states including PA, MD, OH, VA, & NC.
