If you are looking for a driving position where you can be home each night, look no further!
We are seeking a Truck Driver CDL to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). This position mainly makes runs between Cullman, Glen Allen, and Birmingham AL as well as Nashville, and Chattanooga, TN.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck hauling structural steel
- Secure cargo (structural & miscellaneous steel) onto flatbed trailer
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after trip
- Assist operations within fabricating facility as necessary
Qualifications:
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) with at least 2 years' driving experience required;
- Flatbed hauling experience strongly preferred;
- Ability to handle physical workload;
- Overtime is mandatory (as required).
Regular work schedule begins at 7am daily and normally ends between 3:30 - 5:30pm depending on workload.
