The Role
Are you passionate about web3 tech and excited to help build one of the most innovative ecosystems? We are looking for a creative and experienced social media and content manager to join our team at Horizen Labs. You’ll play a key role in growing our social media presence, creating engaging content, monitoring and analyzing performance, and fostering our global online community.
What You’ll Own:
Content Creation:
Create, schedule, and post compelling social media content (text, images, videos) across multiple channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Discord). Content Management:
Coordinate across marketing, engineering, business development, design, legal teams to ensure seamless execution and branding consistency across all touchpoints. Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent content delivery and engagement across all platforms. Social Media Campaign Report and Analytics:
Implement social media best practices to enhance content visibility and drive organic growth. Analyze campaign performance to optimize and refine content strategies. Community Engagement and Market Research:
Actively engage on social media. Conduct competitor and market research to inform content decisions and strategic direction. Set social media growth goals focusing on engagement and reach. Build and execute social media strategies that drive engagement, grow our audience, and enhance brand visibility. Create and generate content based on new information and/or existing materials to keep our social media channels fresh and engaging. Monitor social media platforms, respond to comments, and engage directly with our community to build trust and brand positivity. Track and analyze social media metrics to continuously improve content strategies, performance, and engagement. Monitor trending topics and conversations, creatively integrating them into our content strategy to stay relevant and engaged. Identify opportunities to influence public perception through audience engagement and publicly speaking about the brand’s social media strategy. Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to align social media and content strategies with the overall company’s goals. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in content creation and social media management, preferably in Web3, tech, or a startup environment. Experience with social media management tools and content planning. Strong knowledge of decentralized technologies, blockchain, and the Web3 ecosystem. A passion for Web3 and a drive to help shape the future of decentralized technology. Deep interest in blockchain technology, DeFi applications, NFTs, and the broader Web3 ecosystem. Ability to come up with dynamic and engaging content ideas that resonate with our audience. Excellent verbal and writing skills and the ability to represent the brand’s voice authentically. Demonstrated experience with social media analytics tools and using data to drive decisions. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities. Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking abilities, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing multiple channels and campaigns. In compliance with New York City's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position should the applicant be based in NYC is USD $100,000 to USD $140,000. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position should it be based in NYC. Our salary ranges are determined by numerous factors, including, but not limited to, role, level, experience, and location.
