Job Description

As a Resort Shuttle Driver at Westgate Resorts, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our operations by safely and reliably transporting guests around our property, ensuring they enjoy a seamless and memorable experience. Your role is essential to maintaining the high standards of guest satisfaction that Westgate Resorts is known for.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport guests and team members between resort locations and designated stops on an established route, adhering to the highest safety and service standards.
  • Provide timely assistance for passengers with disabilities, ensuring safe entry and exit from the vehicle.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, logging and reporting any issues or maintenance needs to the department manager.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other drivers via radio to report schedule updates or any service disruptions.
  • Maintain a clean, fueled vehicle ready for operation; handle minor cleaning and service tasks as needed.
  • Deliver interoffice mail and small packages within the resort as assigned.
  • Offer courteous and professional service, including answering guests’ questions about the resort and local attractions.
  • Attend mandatory staff meetings and ongoing training to ensure compliance with resort policies and regulations.
Qualifications

  • CDL Class E license (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate a variety of shuttle vehicles safely and confidently.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
  • Westgate Resorts is a smoke and tobacco-free workplace. Except where prohibited by law, applicants who smoke or use tobacco products will not be considered for positions at Westgate.
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
