This position involves operating a refuse collection truck to collect trash and recyclable materials from residential and commercial locations. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate refuse trucks safely and efficiently.
• Collect waste and recyclable materials from designated locations.
• Work in accordance with traffic laws and company safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck.
• Communicate efficiently with dispatchers and team members.
• Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy bins and objects (50 lbs)
• Ability to work in conditions requiring physical activity pushing and pulling heavy carts across bumpy surfaces
• Ability to perform work in outside weather conditions including hot/cold, wet/humid.
• Courteous interactions with customers required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Clean criminal and driving record.
• Willingness and ability to attain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 6 months of employment.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in waste management or driving large vehicles.
• Strong geographical knowledge of the local area.
