Our workforce, like our technology, is rapidly expanding and looking for a qualified CDL Driver.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

A CDL delivery driver is responsible for driving a delivery truck, picking up new products, following predetermined delivery routes, and delivering those products in a safe and timely manner to the proper place.
•Safely operate the truck and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
•Transport company goods and cargo from one location to another in a timely and efficient manner
•Perform routine inspections of the truck, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and fluid levels
•Complete all necessary paperwork, delivery logs, and inspection reports
•Maintain effective communication with dispatchers, customers, and fellow drivers
•Safely load, secure, and unload cargo according to industry standards
•Ensure that the weight distribution is balanced, use proper equipment and techniques, and protect the cargo from damage during transit
•Maintain accurate records of driving hours, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents
•Adhere to electronic logging device (ELD) requirements and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting
•Uphold a professional and positive image as a representative of the company
•Coordinating with drivers and other personnel to schedule the pickup and delivery of goods
•Communicating with other drivers, logistics dispatchers and coordinators to provide them with updates, instructions, or help as needed
•Resolving issues that arise during trips, such as delays, accidents, or equipment problems

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Class A CDL License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must live within 1 hr. of our facilities
  • Must be available to work all shifts and days of the week
  • A clean driving records
  • Familiarity with maps, GPS systems, and route planning tools

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Required to follow the DOT Physical requirements to receive a medical examiner's certificate.
  • Requires the ability to stand up to ½ of the time.
  • Requires the ability to walk, sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel, over 2/3 of the time.
  • Must be able to lift, pull and push loads of up to 50 pounds, unassisted.
  • Requires close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Driving in an enclosed vehicle cab daily for hours.
  • Working outdoors while loading and unloading.
  • Work near others while loading and unloading.
  • Possible exposure to sounds and noise levels that may be distracting.
  • Possible exposure to work in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions.
