Position Summary: The primary function of the Installer & Non-CDL Driver is to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with the company to deliver and install insulation at job while providing an exceptional customer service. Duties & Responsibilities: Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation. Comply to state and federal guidelines particularly as it relates to OSHA and DOT for the safety of all personnel. Safely install insulation at the job site. Stamina to lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs. for load/unload. Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites. Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order. Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by the customer. Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations. Must report all accidents involving driver or company equipment. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; 4-year degree preferred. Must have a valid driver's license. Knowledge of building materials and experience in the construction industry is preferred. Must have a clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations. Core Competencies: Strive to do the right thing by displaying trust and integrity. Physical Requirements: Must be able to constantly stand 90% while moving from installing materials from commercial motor vehicle onto the job site. Constantly working in an outside environment while installing at commercial and residential job sites. Must be able to lift heavy building materials up to 80 lbs. for load/unload. Constantly, moving from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicle onto job site. Constantly, operates commercial motor vehicle and/or boom vehicle. Must be able to judge distance while delivering materials and/or operating boom. Frequently moves materials weighing up to 80lbs while unloading flatbed. Must be able to communicate with management and coworkers and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Required Cognitive Skills Must be able to prioritize tasks. Must be able to pay attention to detail. Must be able to manage stress depending on deadlines. Must be able to multitask with various ongoing projects. Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur. Must have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement and initiative.
