Job Description
As a critical part of the Healthy Paws Marketing and Communications team, the
Senior Manager, Paid Media and SEO
will lead paid media strategy, planning, and campaign execution across a variety of brand and performance marketing campaigns in the US.
The Paid Media and SEO function is responsible for developing and managing campaigns that drive lead generation & enrollment of customers seeking pet insurance. The position will report to the Director, Digital Marketing, and act as a primary day-to-day contact for our Paid Search, Paid Social, and SEO media agencies of record.
The position will collaborate heavily with key cross-functional stakeholders including Brand, Creative, Content, Organic Social and Digital Experience teams. This person will also work closely with analytics teams for insight on channel performance.
This role operates on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) in our Philadelphia, PA office.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the day-to-day supervision of Paid Search, Paid Social & SEO programs, including strategic approaches, bid recommendations, execution details, budgets/accounting and overall goal achievement. Monitor, track and evaluate campaign performance analytics, based on client KPI targets and baselines. Stay on top of the latest updates regarding tools and User Interfaces (AdWords, Bing, Bid Management Platforms, eMarketer, SEMrush, Search Engine Land, AdCenter, AdGooroo, etc.) Think creatively, research and develop tools and innovative tactics to improve efficiencies or advance the practice. Development and execution of successful Paid Search, Paid Social & SEO strategies. Guide content teams through keyword research. Recommend fixes for technical SEO issues. Optimize paid search copy, paid social advertising, website content, and landing pages. Oversee off-page optimization projects (ie: link-building). Report on aspects of SEO (ie: traffic and rankings, collect data). Optimize campaigns throughout the month. Present findings to senior leadership.
Qualifications
6-8 years of experience planning, executing & analyzing paid search & SEO programs. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Experience with developing / owning paid search engine recommendations to achieve direct response objectives. Experience in Analytical Tools (ie: Google Analytics, Web trends, Omniture), Search Engine Desktop Tools (Google AdWords Editor, Bing Ads Editor), SEO tools (ie: Conductor, MOZ), Web analytics tools (ie: Google Analytics, WebTrends). Hands-on experience creating, trafficking and optimizing campaigns across ad platforms. Conversant in the technical side of ad platforms and media ecosystems with understanding of current innovations in AdTech. Great communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Detail-oriented, highly organized and comfortable juggling multiple priorities. Strong analytical skills.
