A professional dental team looking for an experienced, motivated, and efficient dental assistant for our busy practice. We pride ourselves on quality service and care, so our ideal candidate must be friendly, responsible, punctual, ethical and polite, as well as good communication skills, organized, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities:

 

•        Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment for each patient

•        Organizing and laying out instruments for dentist's use

•        Handing instruments and other materials to dentist during procedures

•        Taking  and developing x-rays into the system

•        Taking impressions of patients' teeth for casts

•        Using suction and swabs to keep patients' mouths clear and dry during procedures

•        Proficiently make temporary crowns and bridges

•        Obtaining patients' dental records

•        Questioning patients about their medical history and recording information for dentist's reference

•        Advising patients on dental care

•        Making patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment

·         Perform lab duties such as pouring models, fabricating whitening trays, night guards and retainers.

·         Set up rooms for all operative procedures

·         Turn over room in efficient manner

·         Seat patients and obtain consents.

·         Able to send cases to dental labs, properly enter into software with accurate return date giving enough time for proper turn around.

•        Able to make Temporary  crowns

•        Ability to present and close treatment plans (when needed)

•        Experience with Dentrix

Salary: Starting rate w/ experience $20.00
