**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will assist dentists during examinations and treatments, perform routine laboratory tasks, and provide excellent patient care.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Set up and breakdown treatment rooms.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies.
- Maintain accurate patient records.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a dental assistant licensing program.
- X-ray certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred.
