- Stable & consistent full-time schedule: Monday – Thursday 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Qualifications & What we are looking for in you …
- Experienced Dental Assistant with 2+ years of experience in assisting in 4-handed dentistry as a chairside assistant.
- Comprehensive dental knowledge and ability to effectively communicate dental terminology with patients.
- Willing to go above & beyond and assist our patients in accordance with the training you receive to ensure patients receive the best possible service!
- Ability to pass an extensive criminal background check.
- We need your expertise to help our patients get the dental care they need.
- A team player with a positive attitude and exceptional multi-tasking abilities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for preparing for & maintaining Doctors’ schedule to ensure the patient experience is exceptional.
- Assist the dentist with complex dental procedures, predicting their needs & providing 4-handed dentistry.
- Update and maintain client’s dental records including clinical notes, lab orders, and chart preparation.
- Help control overhead by sensible use of time & materials.
- Ability to lift & move a minimum of 35 lbs.
- Experience with digital charting and electronic medical records.
- Educate and inform patients of the treatment doctor has diagnosed, supporting them through their entire treatment plan & answering their questions.
- Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene to help them stay healthy.
- Comply to all OSHA and HIPAA standards including sterilization procedures.
- Take and process impressions, X-rays & digital photos for patients.
- Knowledge of dental instruments, materials, supplies, and labs.
