Dental Assistant Responsibilities:

• Help the team open and close back office as instructed
• Prepare trays for various procedures
• Ensure that operatories are stocked and clean at all times
• Clean, sterilize, and package dental instruments
• Assist the dentist(s) during various procedures
• Assist with other duties to support dentist(s) and front office as instructed by office manager.

Dental Assistant Skills:

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Good computer skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable
• Team-Oriented

Dental Assistant Qualifications:

• Must have a current Dental Assistant certificate*
• Active X-Ray license
• Infection Control Certificate
• BLS Certificate
• Bilingual in English-Spanish
