MV Dental LLC is hiring: Dental Hygiene Assistant in Ruidoso

Currently, our office is seeking a Full-Time Hygiene Assistant for our practice in Ruidoso, NM! The ideal candidate would maintain a positive/upbeat personality, have the ability to multitask well and be comfortable with computers and technology!

Duties/Responsibilities

• Prepares treatment room for the patient.
• Prepares patient for hygiene treatment by welcoming, comforting, and seating patients.
• Works the hygiene recall list to schedule patients for the follow-up exam.
• Provides instrumentation to the hygienist by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area; positioning instruments for hygienist's access; suctioning; passing instruments.
• Documents dental care services by charting in patient records as directed by dentist or hygienist.
• Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping the information confidential.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior Hygiene Assisting experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to be a team-player and communicate effectively.
• Must obtain X-Ray Certification within 90 days of hire! (Not Required to Start!)
• High school diploma or equivalent
