Position Summary:
As a Senior Estimator / Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and profitability by estimating, securing, and managing projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in public works with demonstrated profitability or a loyal customer base within the private sector. Your ability to generate sales and manage projects from inception to completion will be key to our continued success.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review project estimates, budgets, and schedules for Earthwork, Underground Utilities, Demolition, or Paving projects.
Develop compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with key clients to secure repeat business.
Lead project planning, execution, and close-out phases, ensuring projects meet client expectations and company standards.
Manage project teams, resources, and subcontractors to maintain project timelines and profitability.
Monitor project financials, proactively addressing potential issues to keep projects within budget.
Foster a positive work environment and ensure adherence to safety standards on all projects.
Qualifications:
Experience:
10+ years in construction estimating and project management, specifically within Earthwork, Underground Utilities, Demolition, or Paving.
Proven Track Record:
Demonstrated success in winning bids and managing profitable projects, whether in public works or private sector.
Sales Skills:
Strong ability to generate sales, with a network of loyal clients or a record of securing public contracts.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in estimating software and project management tools.
Remote Capability:
