Cortica is looking for a
Contract Analyst
to join its growing team! In this role, you will design, develop, interpret, and present analytics to support payer negotiations and drive overarching strategic decisions related to payer relationships and contracting. The Contract Analyst will examine Cortica’s contract position across multiple markets and payers and compare it to both internal and external benchmarks, and will pull claims data from our data warehouse, interpret it, visualize and present findings to leadership, and use results to drive value-based contract negotiations with payers. Cortica is a rapidly growing healthcare company pioneering the most effective treatment methods for children with neurodevelopmental differences. Our mission is to design and deliver life-changing care – one child, one family, one community at a time. Ultimately, we envision a world that cultivates the full potential of every child. At Cortica, every team member is instrumental in helping us achieve our mission! What will you do? Work with leadership to develop analytic models to respond to proposals and inform strategy for payer contracting, including internal and external benchmark comparisons (Medicare fees, Price Transparency data, etc.). Manage Payer Contracting analytics process by serving as an analytic participant in individual payer negotiations (especially value-based contracts) as well as internal overarching discussions about payer contracting. Use PowerBI or other analytic programs to analyze data from the Data Warehouse, build models for payer contract negotiations, and create visualizations for leadership. Research payer market share, products and contracting processes to provide perspective on the strategy for expansion into new markets. Evaluate the profitability of payor contracts; lead development of financial models to project financial impact of value-based contracts and for the market overall. Work closely with revenue cycle, finance, and other partner departments to ensure contract terms are understood and executed accurately. Develop and deliver concise, easy-to-understand, data-based recommendations to management to assist with strategy development and decision making. Perform quality checks on performed analyses and utilize internal benchmarks to verify the results. Develop analytics infrastructure including reports and dashboards supporting financial performance of contracts. We’d love to hear from you if: You hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, healthcare administration or related field; master’s degree preferred. You bring 5+ years of experience with healthcare data analysis; managed care or value-based contracting experience preferred. You are proficient with Excel and data visualization software (e.g., Power BI). Cortica cares deeply about the well-being of each member of our team, and we have created a passionate, caring, and growth-minded culture that helps teammates thrive! As a Cortica teammate, we’ll support your well-being through medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching and rapid vesting, paid holidays and wellness days, life insurance, disability insurance options, tuition reimbursements for professional development and continuing education, and referral bonuses. We value you and the experience you bring to your role, and are proud to provide you with a compensation and benefits package designed to enhance all aspects of your life. The base pay range for this opening is

to
$117,222 annually.
