Medina Talent Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Product Owner on the Revenue Operations Center (ROC) team, you will play a crucial role in defining and driving the product roadmap, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet customer needs and business objectives. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the product development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with overall business goals.
Collaborate with key ROC stakeholders, including customers, to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into the product roadmap.
Create and prioritize the product backlog based on customer and business value.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of features and enhancements.
Regularly communicate the product roadmap to internal teams and stakeholders.
Collaborate with development teams during sprint planning to ensure a shared understanding of requirements.
Plan and coordinate product releases, considering dependencies and potential impacts on other teams and systems.
Ensure timely and quality delivery of product releases.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor product metrics for assessment.
Utilize data-driven insights to inform decisions and continuously improve the product.
Foster strong collaboration between support department teams for holistic product development.
Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable requirements.
Communicate product updates, milestones, and changes to stakeholders.
Gather and incorporate feedback from various sources to enhance the product.
Stay informed about industry trends, Revenue Operations, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape.
Actively seek professional development opportunities and attend relevant events to stay updated.
Share gained insights and knowledge with the team to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
REQUIRED:
Minimum of 5+ years of related experience, including 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner in Agile Development.
Bachelor's degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
Certified Product Owner, Scale Agile Framework or related experience.
Experience working with revenue cycle principles and processes, for instance:
Patient eligibility and benefit verification
Health insurance fees management
Claim process
EDI / X12 messages
PREFERRED:
Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Experience in the dental/healthcare/retail industry.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Familiarity with product management tools and software.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
