Dental Assistant Trainee - Posting #26620
Hourly Rate: $20.00
Position Summary:
Full-time Dental Assistant Trainee position available for our Lacey Dental Clinic. The main function of the trainee is to complete the dental assistant training program and assist with the delivery of dental services to clients. This position requires the candidate to commit to finishing the CA Training Program within the scheduled program length and agree to the mutual agreement of service post completion of training.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to operate in a manner that will prevent employees/patients exposure to communicable diseases through proper infection control.
A Dental Assistant Trainee must have the ability to effectively communicate with patients and staff both verbally and in writing. Have the ability to read and interpret common written materials about dentistry. Must be able to communicate basic mathematical figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, and percentages.
Qualifications and/or Requirements:
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Must participate in the Dental Assistant Program.
- Must be registered with the WA State Department of Health.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with the utilization of computers.
- Excellent customer service skills is a must.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
