PRIMARY DUTIES

• Review patients’ medical history and records
• Obtain radiographs as needed
• Chart and record treatment information in chart
• Prepare patients for diagnosis and/or treatment
• Assist surgeon and anticipate needs during surgical procedures
• Recover patients
• Perform post-operative patient care
• Clean and stock operatories
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control
• Prepare surgical instruments for procedures
• Control inventory of clinical supplies and order as needed
• Comply with OSHA, HIPAA, and privacy policies at all times
• Assist with the implementation of marketing strategies such as asking for referrals and testimonials
• Other duties as assigned

DESIRED SKILLS

• High school graduate
• Radiology certification
• Radiography –digital sensors
• Sterilization– autoclaves, ultrasonic, handpiece equipment
• Experience utilizing practice management software
