Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist for dental procedures to ensuring efficient and smooth operations.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for each patient.
• Record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse.
• Conduct patient assessments and update medical records.
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Perform infection control procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Take dental impressions and prepare materials for restorations.
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment.
• Utilize dental software systems for scheduling, billing, and record-keeping.

Qualifications:

• Must possess dental assisting certificate
• X-ray certification required; CPR certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role (new graduates are welcome)
• Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using dental software systems.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
