Custodian / Janitor

SmartTalent Kirkland is seeking to hire an experienced Custodian / Janitor for a food manufacturing company based in Woodinville, WA.Ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial/custodial positions.

LOCATION: Woodinville, WA

Pay: $18 - $21

SCHEDULE:

Monday –Friday 8am - 430pm

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

·Maintain a clean, appealing, and organized facility in compliance with food-grade standards.

·Oversee the facility’s environment, including parking lots, loading docks, walkways, and grounds, to identify and address any repair or maintenance needs.

·Order and replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies and equipment as required.

·Clear pallets, cardboard, and packaging materials from the shop floor and production areas to ensure a tidy and efficient workspace.

·Operate facility equipment safely in line with company policies.

·Use various shop and power tools as necessary.

·Conduct basic preventive maintenance on facility equipment.

·Clean pallet racking, floors, equipment, breakrooms, kitchens, restrooms, and offices across both facilities.

·Perform drywall, painting, flooring, and other facility repairs as needed.

·Assist supervisory staff in ensuring tasks are completed accurately and punctually.

·Help production staff meet sanitation standards for food-grade facilities.

·Aid maintenance staff in preparing equipment for preventive maintenance and repairs.

·Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety Standards, and other operational procedures.

·Take on additional projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

·Highschool Diploma or equivalent

·Able to lift up to 50lbs

·Weekends/overtime as needed
