Our team must carefully balance our needs to lower costs while ensuring high performance, reliability, and abundant supply. Global Sourcing Manager.The Job:Negotiating with suppliers on cost and maintaining commitmentsWork directly with our contract manufacturers in keeping our material pipeline flowingIdentify and convert cost reduction opportunities based on a solid understanding of cost drivers and manufacturing processesProvide guidance to internal stakeholders on supply chain healthInitiate and complete supplier audits to ensure their ability to meet part performance and on-time deliveryLead the supplier selection process with inputs from cross-functional teamsPartner with engineering to improve specifications to ensure quality components and design for manufacturingYou:2-5 years post-graduate experience working in a strategic sourcing, manufacturing, or supplier quality engineering roleSkilled at negotiation and holding suppliers accountableAble to travel internationally (up to 20%) to visit suppliers for quality audits, QBRs, and relationship buildingExperience developing process quality plans, supplier quality audits, and driving yield improvementsExcited to source, contact, and evaluate potential suppliers for quality, reliability, and capacityAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&TAn independent worker and team player who is excited to work cross-functionally with a wide variety of teamsBonus Skills:Expert in MS Excel or other data analysis tools3D CAD design, particularly SolidWorks or OnshapeExperience working with factories producing high volume consumer productsBenefits:Robust equity program to build future wealth through RSUsComprehensive healthcare coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision)Low cost fund options in our 401K and access to advisorsGenerous paid Parental Leave (up to 16 weeks)Tenure-based paid Sabbatical Leave (up to 6 weeks)Flexible Out of Office Plan – Take time when you need itHealthy on-site lunches, snacks, beverages, & treatsRegular sponsored professional development opportunitiesMany opt-in culture events across our diverse communityAnd of course… unlimited 3D printsWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
