Lead RFP/RFQ pursuits, proposals, and interviews. Evaluate all opportunities to ensure resources are focused on the best opportunities and align with company strategy. Assist with new marketing initiatives. Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events. Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings and market conditions. Oversight and mentoring of other Business Development team members. Develop long-term client services management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Ability to initiate and develop personal and professional relationships in the industry. Proven leadership skills used to identify key internal personnel and drive the pursuit efforts forward while maintaining the ultimate needs of the Owner. Strong personal and company branding skills. Able to infuse and exude company values into personal brand and daily interactions. Manage the ongoing sales process, develop relationships, manage the response to, and anticipate customer needs. Utilize applicable sales tools effectively to plan and document progress as well as increase penetration of accounts. Manage CRM & ensure that all information is input and regularly updated. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred, but not required. 10+ years’ experience in business development or similar experience required. At least 5 years of A/E/C experience strongly desired. Proven industry leadership; recognized by internal and external peers. Experienced team leader and excellent multi-tasking capabilities. Experience with various CRM platforms and with researching new markets. Able to travel up to 10%. Key Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
