Sr. Manager, Product Manager - Technical

will be responsible for owning the technical roadmap for key technology initiatives across Amazon Assessments. This includes the development of internal and candidate facing technologies and experience that ensure a safe and effective way to evaluate the next generation of Amazonians. This leader will work closely with business stakeholders to align technology solutions to support the organization's goals to continually improve the quality of hires we make, matched by great candidate experiences. Key job responsibilities

Building, leading and influencing high-functional product management teams Defining product strategy that achieves strong customer value and business outcomes Working with developers and architects to build scalable and highly reliant systems Using UX, product, and business knowledge to inform decisions and communicate effectively with and influence internal teams Problem solving using analytical skills and a proven process of data-validated, hypothesis-driven, experiment-tested decisions Hire and develop the best with empathy, while ensuring the highest standards Think big to integrate machine learning and GenAI-based solutions where they are game-changers A day in the life

Each day is a new adventure and you will routinely engage with your customers, working backwards from their needs together with your UX and software development partners. This could mean defining a product vision, writing PRFAQ documents, diving deep into the technical details and making trade-offs to deliver the highest customer value with a bias for action. You will work with our internal partners (e.g. engineering) to make product decisions, and with our external partners (operations center, security, etc) to launch products. About the team

10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience 6+ years of team management experience Bachelor's degree Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition Experience with end to end product delivery Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market.
