This individual will lead a team of pricing professionals, work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, and product management, and utilize data-driven insights to set pricing strategies for a portfolio of products. The Pricing Director will also ensure pricing processes align with company objectives and remain agile in response to evolving market trends.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Pricing Development : Lead the creation of pricing models and strategies that enhance revenue growth, align with market trends, and optimize profit margins across all product lines.Market Analysis : Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify pricing opportunities and risks, responding to shifts in the market landscape.Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with sales, finance, product management, and marketing teams to set and communicate effective pricing strategies that support business goals and customer needs.Pricing Implementation : Oversee the deployment of pricing strategies, ensuring they are communicated clearly across the organization and reflected accurately in sales channels and systems. Manage annual price renewal process.Data Analysis & Reporting : Utilize pricing analytics to drive decisions, monitor performance, and provide regular reporting on pricing effectiveness, profitability, and market competitiveness.Leadership & Development : Manage, coach, and develop a team of pricing analysts and managers, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.Risk & Compliance Management : Ensure all pricing activities adhere to legal, compliance, and ethical guidelines; mitigate risks associated with pricing decisions.Qualifications:Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).Experience : 10+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or financial analysis, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of pricing strategies and competitive dynamics within manufacturing environment.
