INTO Hofstra is searching for a dynamic, student-focused leader to take on the role of Assistant Director of Student Experience. This key position is all about ensuring a world-class experience for our international students, helping them navigate every aspect of life at Hofstra—housing, dining, orientation, and more!
What You'll Do:
Oversee and enhance the non-academic aspects of student life, from housing to crisis management.
Collaborate with campus departments and INTO teams to ensure a smooth student transition.
Develop innovative communication strategies, including pre-arrival engagement.
Lead and motivate the student experience team to deliver outstanding service.
Manage student engagement events and ongoing support initiatives, creating an environment where every student thrives.
What We’re Looking For:
A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of leadership experience in student affairs.
A strong communicator with excellent decision-making and team management skills.
Experience working with international students and building relationships across diverse stakeholders.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and create innovative and positive solutions.
A passion for supporting multicultural environments and providing exceptional service.
