Job Description

Akkodis is seeking an Equipment Operator II – 3rd Shift for a Contract job with a client in Southington, CT. The role requires the operator to troubleshoot machine faults, adjust parameters for optimal efficiency, and perform tasks like backflushing in Oracle.

Rate Range: $21/hour to $23.50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Equipment Operator II – 3rd Shift job responsibilities include:

Operating and maintaining moderately complex automated assembly machines to ensure safe and efficient production.
Troubleshooting and interpreting machine faults, determining root causes, and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
Adjusting machine parameters to ensure optimal efficiency and product quality.
Performing minor machine adjustments, changeovers, and setups without requiring maintenance intervention.
Leading a team of machine operators to meet production standards and ensure tasks are completed.
Completing Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks and ensuring equipment reliability.
Using Oracle for Backflushing and completing transactions as required by the department.
Participating in team meetings and problem-solving activities to improve processes.
Mentoring and training junior team members to improve their skills and performance.

Desired Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred.
6 months to 1 year of experience in machine operation or related field.
Ability to operate moderately complex automated assembly machines and perform troubleshooting.
Proficiency in completing basic Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks and utilizing Oracle for Backflushing.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.50 per hour
