Westrax Machinery is hiring: Service Technician - Heavy Equipment in Corona

Westrax Machinery is a growing construction equipment dealership that is building a team of driven professionals to support our new, used and rental equipment. We’re currently seeking Technicians for Heavy Construction Equipment / Diesel Engines, this position involves the maintenance diagnosis and repair of heavy construction equipment in the field and in the shop.

Responsibilities & Operational Functions:  

• Diagnose and repair heavy equipment 
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.  
• Perform routine maintenance work on heavy equipment and company vehicles.
• Adheres to all company, governmental and equipment related safety requirements  
• Be familiar with electronics, be able to read schematics and use electronic diagnostic equipment 
• Have a positive attitude, works well with others  
• Communicate with customers
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Other assigned duties 

Qualifications & Skills:  

• Must have own tools and toolbox  
• Fleet and diesel engine experience desirable, will accept trade school or similar technical experience.
• Familiarity with construction equipment (excavators, wheel loaders, backhoes etc.)
• Experience with hydraulics a plus
• Experience at a previous dealership or rental yard (preferred)  
• Welding/Fabrication experience a plus
• Physical requirements include the ability to bend, squat, walk with heavy equipment, climb ladders, and lift 50 pounds    
• High School Education Technical college and/or 4-year degree is a plus  
• Clean driving record
