Butler Machinery Company is hiring: Demo Equipment Operator in Fargo

This position can be based out of Fargo, ND or Sioux Falls, SD.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and demonstrate various types of heavy equipment, highlighting their features, benefits, and capabilities to customers.
• Works closely with the sales team and customers to understand how the equipment can provide solutions that grow and improve business operations.
• Provides advanced technical support and troubleshooting assistance during demos and post demos, including any operational issues or challenges 24/7, whether on the road or in the office.
• Provides additional onsite equipment training for customers and their employees on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Collaborates with the sales team to develop and execute strategies for demonstrations
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products and customer needs to provide relevant and current information during demos.
• Adheres to all safety protocols while operating and demonstrating equipment.
• Requires traveling to customer sites, trade shows, and other locations to provide live demos (approx. 50% travel).
• Works within and promotes vision, mission, and values of BMC.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment
• Must be able to obtain CDI or CDO certification. CAT requires all demo equipment operators to complete a CAT instructor Accredited Program (CIAP)
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to meet company insurability guidelines.
• Class A Driver’s license preferred.
