Our client, a respected statewide non-profit association, has engaged us to identify an exceptional Executive Director to lead their mission of advancing economic and social justice through advocacy and action. This is a unique opportunity to drive meaningful change across the state while working with a diverse network of stakeholders and community partners.
Position Overview: Our client seeks a visionary leader who will serve as the primary architect of their continued growth and impact. This executive will be instrumental in shaping policy, building coalitions, and advancing programs that create pathways out of poverty for communities across the state.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership across a complex multi-stakeholder organization
Foster relationships with member agencies, government officials, and partners
Drive policy advocacy and legislative engagement at state and federal levels
Secure and steward resources for organizational sustainability
Oversee member services including policy guidance and training initiatives
Implement effective operational policies and financial management systems
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required (Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, Political Science, or related field)
Executive-level leadership experience managing complex stakeholder relationships
Proven track record in government relations and policy advocacy
Understanding of anti-poverty programs and funding mechanisms
Must be eligible for state lobbying license
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a relevant field
Non-profit/government management experience
Experience with member-based organizations

They will combine strategic thinking with outstanding analytical and communication skills.
