POSITION TITLE: Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic
DEPARTMENT: Equipment & Yard
LOCATION: Niagara Falls, New York
SALARY RANGE: $23 to $27 per hour
JOB NUMBER: 2024-6140-02
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Nationally recognized environmental remediation contractor looking for a Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic based at our corporate office in Niagara Falls, New York.
The daily work will include:
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum five years’ prior work experience required on a variety of heavy construction equipment including excavators, bulldozers, off-road haulers, and loaders. Other job requirements include:
SALARY/BENEFITS:
An employee’s salary is based on commensurate experience and other qualifications. - Responsible for all phases of heavy construction equipment repair and overhaul
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum five years’ prior work experience required on a variety of heavy construction equipment including excavators, bulldozers, off-road haulers, and loaders. Other job requirements include:
- Must have own tools
- Ability to rebuild diesel and gasoline engines a plus
- Must have valid NYS driver’s license
