Founded in 1959 at the University of Miami (FL), Order of Omega is the premier leadership honor society for colleague social fraternity and sorority leaders. Order of Omega’s goal is to recognize undergraduate fraternity and sorority leaders at our collegiate chapters in the United States and Canada. Order of Omega is a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, headquartered in Arlington, TX.
Position Overview:
The Executive Director (ED) serves as the chief executive officer of Order of Omega. The ED is responsible for the overall strategic, operational, and financial management of the international organization, ensuring the successful implementation of its mission and goals. The ED reports to the Board of Director through the President of the Board of Directors and leads a dedicated team to achieve the organization's objectives.
Full-time, Exempt. The position may require some non-traditional work hours. Benefits include paid sick/vacation leave and insurance supplement, as well as retirement benefits.
This position is based at the Dr. Kent L. Gardner Order of Omega International Headquarters in Arlington, TX. To perform the required responsibilities, this is an in-office position.
Key Responsibilities:

. Leadership and Strategy: ·Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the organization’s mission and vision. ·Provide visionary and collaborative leadership to staff, volunteers, and stakeholders. ·Cultivate a strong and transparent working relationship with the Board of Directors. 2.
Financial Management: ·Develop and manage the annual budget in collaboration with the finance team. ·Ensure the financial stability and sustainability of the organization. ·Provide regular financial reports to the Board of Directors. 3
. Program Management: ·Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services. · Utilize assessment and data collection best practices to ensure
programs are aligned with the organization’s mission and goals. ·Promote innovation and continuous improvement in program delivery. 4.
Operations and Administration: ·Ensure effective day-to-day operations and administration of the organization. ·Oversee human resources functions, including staff recruitment, development, evaluation, and retention. ·Implement and maintain policies and procedures that support organizational effectiveness. 5.
Community and Public Relations ·Act as the primary spokesperson for the organization. ·Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, partners, and stakeholders. ·Enhance the organization’s public image to expand interest and support. Qualifications: ·Minimum bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business administration, education, or a related field; Master level degree preferred. ·Senior management experience in a nonprofit organization or institution of higher education. ·Previous fraternity/sorority affairs management or association management experience desired ·Strong financial management skills, including budget preparation and analysis. ·Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. ·Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people. ·Passion for the organization’s mission and a commitment to making a difference. Compensation: $90,000-100,000 (annually). Benefits include a 5% employer contribution to a retirement plan, $500 monthly toward an individual’s health insurance premium, generous vacation, and sick leave.
