Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Machine Operator / Truck Driver to join our team. In this dual role, you will operate heavy machinery and drive trucks to transport materials, equipment, or goods. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with heavy equipment, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Heavy Machine Operation

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, graders, or cranes in compliance with safety standards.
• Perform tasks such as digging, grading, leveling, or material loading/unloading.
• Inspect, maintain, and ensure equipment is in safe working order before and after use.
• Adhere to site plans, blueprints, and work instructions provided by supervisors.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure accurate and safe operations.

Truck Driving

• Safely transport materials, machinery, or goods to and from job sites using company trucks.
• Load and secure cargo to prevent shifting or damage during transport.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company policies regarding driving hours, safety, and maintenance.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers, reporting any issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery records as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a Valid CDL A or B License. 
• Must have a minimum of 1-2 years proven experience as a heavy machine operator and truck driver.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for heavy equipment operation and trucking.
• Ability to read blueprints, site plans, or grade specifications is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, sit for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
