Field Equipment Technician Job at Sparks Group in Charlotte

Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group has partnered with a small family owned and operated coffee roaster to identify a Coffee Equipment Technician to travel to regional customer locations to service equipment . Join a fast-moving company growing in the right directions for the right reasons.

Responsibilities:

• The installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of coffee equipment in our customer locations.
• Administration of schedules, work orders, and client communication.
• Work with sales and operations teams on invoicing and client communications.
• Other general warehouse cleanup/inventory management/assistance
• Kegerator line cleanings at client locations.

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• THIS POSITION REQUIRES COFFEE EQUIPMENT EXPERIENCE
• We are first and foremost hiring for a candidate with experience installing and maintaining espresso machines, batch brew machines, and coffee grinders.
• General Mechanical skills and abilities. This person is intended to be the go-to employee for any internal or client equipment/mechanical need.
• Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical experience related to all items listed above.
• Experience with food safety operations, or experience operating in an organization with food safety standards and requirements.
• Experience with food manufacturing environments or programs.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and general computer skills.
