The RFP Manager will strive to exceed the expectations of external clients and internal business partners by delivering outstanding RFPs that are instrumental in driving asset growth and client retention.
This role supports the creation, maintenance, sourcing, and review of written content specifically for RFPs, third-party databases, and DDQs, liaising with Product Teams and Subject Matter Experts across the business. The role is focused on content build-out and improvement suitable for global consumption, which means liaison with business partners and SMEs worldwide. The role may include the opportunity to be involved in content automation projects, narratives for consultants and other third parties, and other due diligence platforms. There will be significant involvement with live RFPs in a deadline-sensitive environment to help drive new business for the firm. Other responsibilities include:
Responding to due diligence questionnaires as needed to support the RFP team.
Ensuring that best practices, consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards are implemented across content.
Writing, coordinating, editing, and proofreading responses to questionnaires, working with subject matter experts across the firm.
Developing an expertise across the many facets of firm-level content to effectively craft and enhance responses.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
3+ years of experience writing RFPs and/or investment content for Fixed Income and Equity investment products within an investment management firm.
Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in capital markets/investment knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a changing and collaborative global environment.
Excellent investment writing, quantitative, and communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
The individual must be an independent self-starter, a team player, and able to work on multiple assignments and complete high-quality work against strict and competing deadlines that are dictated by prospects, consultants, and clients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Qvidian will be viewed favorably.
A positive, collegial attitude and a high level of professionalism are essential.
