The Solution Strategy Director for Experimentation will play a key role in defining and executing the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for one of Optimizely’s flagship products. This role requires a deep understanding of the product's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), value proposition, and competitive landscape to craft and implement GTM programs that generate pipeline, drive bookings, and improve customer retention. In this role, you will: Develop a deep understanding of the product’s Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), personas, competitive landscape, key customers, use cases, pricing, and packaging, as well as how the product fits into the broader Optimizely platform. Design and implement go-to-market (GTM) programs to address pipeline gaps and drive retention through targeted plays and initiatives. Create and deliver enablement content to: Sales teams to enhance discovery, pitches, and objection handling. Sales development teams to improve prospecting and outbound strategies targeted at the right personas. Customer success teams to boost retention and long-term customer engagement. Actively monitor progress against pipeline and bookings targets by territory and source, identifying gaps and creating solutions to address them. Lead GTM launches for key product capabilities, collaborating with Product, Marketing, Partners, Onboarding, and Services teams to ensure successful execution. Proactively communicate progress and results to senior leadership, ensuring alignment and transparency. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Support the Experimentation business in achieving quarterly and annual pipeline, bookings, and retention targets. Ensure alignment between product strategy and market execution for key capability launches. Knowledge and Experience
10+ years of experience in SaaS companies, including presenting to senior leaders at customer and partner organizations. Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with GTM teams and Product Management. Demonstrated success in designing and launching key GTM initiatives across various cross-functional teams. Preferably experienced working with solution and technology partners within a software organization. Strong project management skills, with the ability to create and present project plans in coordination with cross-functional global teams. Ability to engage and present to internal and external audiences on a variety of topics. Must be an independent, motivated worker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Keen attention to detail, especially during complex rollouts involving multiple factors, including operational and pricing considerations. Strong knowledge and/or experience in the relevant solution area (Experimentation); direct knowledge of Optimizely’s products is a plus. Education
