As a Scrum Master in our Business Solutions division (CIO's Org), you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, to enhance the delivery of technology solutions. You will facilitate the Agile process and serve as a servant leader, guiding our development teams through the entire software development lifecycle. Your primary focus will be on enabling teams to achieve their highest potential by promoting self-organization, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Serve as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement. Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring their effectiveness and efficiency. Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles, practices, and frameworks, helping them to understand and embrace the Agile mindset. Remove impediments and blockers that hinder the team's progress, working collaboratively with stakeholders to find timely resolutions. Act as a shield for the team, protecting them from external distractions and influences that may disrupt their focus and productivity. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, Quality Assurance, and other stakeholders to prioritize and deliver high-quality software increments in a timely manner. Track and communicate team progress, velocity, and other relevant metrics to stakeholders, promoting transparency and visibility. Continuously seek opportunities to optimize the Agile process and drive improvements in team performance, efficiency, and delivery. Generate and maintain various reports, including sprint progress, velocity, burndown charts, and stakeholder updates, to ensure transparency, visibility, and continuous improvement within Agile teams. Oversee the coordination and management of multiple Agile teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of technology solutions. Leverage core banking experience to provide valuable insights and guidance specific to the financial services environment Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8 to 12 years of experience as a Scrum Master. Certification in Agile methodologies, such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM). SAFe certification and Kanban certification are a plus. Proven experience in the banking or financial services sector, with a deep understanding of core banking technology systems and processes. Strong knowledge of Agile principles, practices, and frameworks, particularly Scrum and Kanban. Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience working with cross-functional Agile teams comprised of Developers, Quality Assurance, Business Analysts, and other roles. Demonstrated ability to manage and coach multiple teams, ensuring the successful adoption and implementation of Agile practices. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex environments to drive team success. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience as an Agile Coach, providing guidance and mentorship to teams and individuals in adopting Agile practices. Strong understanding of Agile scaling frameworks, such as SAFe, and the ability to implement and coach these frameworks within the organization. Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other Agile project management software. The estimated salary range for this position is $135,000.00 to $160,000.00. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
