Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the development team’s efforts throughout the lifecycle, using Agile methodology and scrum practices.
- Utilize Agile methodologies to drive project completion.
- Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments.
- Drive the adoption and enforcement of basic Scrum principles.
- Adapt basic, core Agile methodologies, practices, and processes to meld into the Quadax culture, workforce, and processes.
- Align resources on other teams, such as product management, quality assurance, and server support.
- Master Agile and Scrum principles and apply them to the development team’s workflow.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with team members.
- Present status to Directors and communicate concisely with executives.
- Use a variety of Agile metrics to help monitor progress on projects and roadmaps, code quality, and business value. Also use Agile estimation methods for estimating projects.
- Serve as Project Manager reporting status to an overall program manager while also serving as Scrum Master for the software development team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in the healthcare industry a plus
- 3-4+ years of experience in IT project management. 3+ years of Agile methodology experience
- Large scale production systems delivery experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
- Strong knowledge of Agile tools and can train others on using these tools, especially JIRA and AzureDevOps
- Demonstrated understanding of software engineering practices, continuous integration, GIT (or other versioning tool)
- Demonstrated effective organizational, planning, decision making, and time management skills with proven ability to motivate in a time constraint/deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
- Well-developed oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to translate technology jargon into simple, understandable, business language when dealing with non-technical personnel
- Easy to work with. Must be a team player, humble professional, an inquisitive intellectual, but at the same time be pragmatic and good at realistic scoping
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
