Job Description
Job Summary: Master Scheduler needed to develop, prepare, and maintain production schedules for maximum efficiency and meeting output and timeline objectives.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge and understanding of ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.
Understanding of best practices and technology trends in the supply chain field including lean methodologies.
Strong technical knowledge related to the field of manufacturing.
High school education or GED required. Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain or related field preferred.
Seven+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
APICS certification strongly desired.
Proficiency with MS Suite, specifically Excel skills.
Strong understanding of ERP functionality.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with teams to schedule a flow of work that maximizes production resources.
Coordinate with production team to ensure availability of resources for meeting production schedules.
Develop production schedule that ensures on-time delivery of products while maximizing shop efficiency.
Communicate and collaborate with upstream operations and leadership on scheduled work and backlog status.
Address delays in schedule deadlines or other issues impacting schedule due dates.
Lead the development and implementation of new production planning processes, tools, and systems.
Analyze production data and provide regular reports to management on production performance.
Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, etc., in our production management system.
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
