Job Summary:

Ilforno Brands is seeking a skilled Grill Master to join our team. The Grill Master is responsible for operating the grill and ensuring that all grilled food items meet our high standards for quality and taste. This role requires expertise in grilling techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations. The Grill Master will work closely with the kitchen team to prepare and cook a variety of meats, seafood, and vegetables, providing a memorable dining experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Grill Operation:
  • Prepare and cook food items on the grill, including meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables, according to established recipes and customer preferences.
  • Monitor and maintain grill temperature to ensure optimal cooking conditions and food safety.
  • Ensure all grilled items are cooked to the appropriate level of doneness and meet quality standards.
Kitchen Hygiene and Safety:
  • Maintain a clean and organized grilling area.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food.
  • Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance of grilling equipment.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work effectively with kitchen staff and management to coordinate grilling activities with other kitchen operations.
  • Assist with training new kitchen staff on grilling techniques and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Grill Master or similar role in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of grilling techniques and various types of meats and vegetables.
  • Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification.
  • Experience in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment.
Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Exposure to heat from grills and kitchen equipment.
  • Standing for long periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting and moving items.
