This role in the Program Management Department will help grow and strengthen our team, in support of the agile development of innovative communications, networking, and computing solutions for U.S. defense agencies that improve the sharing of information among warfighters distributed throughout airborne, maritime, and ground environments.
What you'll need to:
- Create, organize and update program schedules across the projects identified within the program management team area of responsibility to meet customer and company objectives
- Team with Program and Project Managers to ensure that resources are effectively allocated, and projects are time phased efficiently
- Work with Supply Chain Manager to ensure program supply schedules are met
- Perform critical path analysis of identified programs
- Work with Program and Project Managers to ensure issues related to scheduling are properly identified and resolved
- Assist in constructing and managing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and work scope decomposition to achieve and effectively measure to program objectives
- Utilize MS Project to update status of activity completion and employ critical path analysis and other scheduling techniques to assess schedule performance
Requirements
We are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 5 - 7 years of experience in scheduling, specifically using MS Project, in support of DoD contracts
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential to address scheduling challenges efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be U.S. Citizen
Desired Skills:
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Familiarity with Agile Development
- Familiarity with the Department of Defense Earned Value Management Implementation Guide (EVMIG Jan 2019)
