Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Master Electrician to join a high-performance team, performing all electrical functions, troubleshooting, and repairs to maintain safe, efficient operations. As part of your responsibilities, you will provide technical support across multiple phases of operation and maintain a focus on food safety, quality, and legality. You will work with complex electrical systems, fluid power, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes to keep operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems including electrical control panels, transformers, motors, and motor control devices.
- Provide support for electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a high standard of safety and food safety.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and legality standards in all tasks.
- Work with PLC systems and maintain data collection instrumentation.
- Conduct electrical system construction and project management activities, following industry standards and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems as needed.
- Strong knowledge in AC/DC circuits, industrial electrical systems, and electrical safety.
- Proficient in the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems (bearings, gears, clutches, belts, seals).
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Experience with industrial semiconductors, solid-state drives, and control systems.
- Proficiency in using SAP Plant Maintenance and Windows-based software (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Associate degree in electronic technology or a related technical field (preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance and Electrical Controls.
- Valid electrician's license as required by state or local regulations.
- Competency in using software for document organization, creating queries, and reporting.
- Strong safety record and good interpersonal skills.
- Experience in PLC operation, configuration, programming, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of electronic motor drive technologies (servo-motors, encoders, tachometers, etc.).
- Familiarity with microcomputer skills and interfacing with microprocessors.
- Background in instrumentation and project management, including writing scopes and adhering to NEC Standards.
