Master Production Mechanic

Direct Hire (Great Pay, Schedule and Team)

Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a manufacturer in Smyrna, TN area. We are seeking a Master Production Mechanic to come on and be responsible for overseeing a production line and managing 5 to 6 machines.

• Pay: $28/hour. Potential increase to $36/hour within 6 to 9 months based on performance metrics.
• Night Shift: $2 shift differential.
• 2-2-3 Schedule

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee operations for a designated line within the facility, managing 5-6 machines.
• Focus on general production rather than maintenance, ensuring equipment runs effectively and efficiently.
• Monitor and optimize machine performance without constant operation.
• Conduct training sessions for operators on basic machine operations and maintenance procedures.
• Utilize basic mathematical skills to support production processes and equipment troubleshooting.

Job Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical and multi-craft aptitude.
• Experience overseeing production lines and managing multiple machines (5-6).
• Ability to focus on general production processes, with approximately 70% of the role dedicated to this area.
• Proven track record of ensuring equipment operates effectively and efficiently.
• Understanding that the position does not require continuous operation of machinery.
• Basic math skills for troubleshooting and operational tasks.
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
