Hirebridge Organic is hiring: Coffee Roast Master in New Orleans

Dupuy Group is currently looking to hire a Coffee Roaster for their Decatur Street Services office.

Join our dynamic team where you will play a key role in ensuring quality and efficiency of our coffee roasting and blending operations. As the expert in coffee production, you will collaborate with the Team Leader to oversee the smooth running of our roasting facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone enthusiastic about coffee, dedicated to maintaining high-quality standards, and looking to grow in a supportive environment.

• Manage the coffee roasting process to ensure efficiency and consistency
• Handle green coffee, including loading, unloading, and moving for current and future orders
• Maintain and uphold customer standards for all roast profiles
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet production standards
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of roasting equipment and surrounding areas

What are the qualifications?

• High School diploma or equivalency required(vocational school preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Lift over 50 pounds regularly
• Team player with excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately manage product counts
• Must be able to properly schedule production
• Follow specific instructions and replicate processes consistently
• Problem-solving skills and a desire to pursue relevant certifications
