Job Description

Overview

The Master Insulation Installer is a senior position within the installation team. Master Insulation Installers are experienced in blown-in and spray foam insulation jobs and they are expected to lead crews in the installation of spray foam or blown-in insulation. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of documented experience in insulation jobs and the ability/willingness to take and pass the Arizona Registrar of Contractors Statutes and Regulations Exam (SRE) and the Arizona C-40/CR-40/R-40 Trade Exam (or have passed both exams within the last two years).

Day-to-Day Activities

This position requires spending time outdoors and in unconditioned spaces that can reach temperature extremes depending on the season. The ideal candidate must be comfortable in tight spaces, including attics and crawl spaces, and be able to maneuver carefully while maintaining their balance. The candidate should be prepared to work up a sweat on a regular basis and be willing to work in environments where dust and dirt abound. This position will primarily work with intensive, industrial-strength chemicals and must employ proper safety equipment and procedures at all times. Safety tasks also extend to enforcing the proper safety measures for all employees under their supervision.

The person in this position must have the social skills to lead a team. This requires functioning as the main customer contact, answering any questions the customer may have, and processing customer paperwork and billing. An ideal candidate also demonstrates excellent coaching skills and readily teaches those under their supervision to increase the team’s knowledge as a whole.
